When trying to import the files it comes up with a message "No messages can be found in this folder..."
I wish I paid more attention in IT class at school rather than dreaming of quattro's but it was one computer for the whole school back then.
    Umm...ok

First go to my computer > then the tools menu > then folder options > then view tab >
and under the "hidden files and folders" item select "show hidden files and folders"

    Now....
Go to start menu then search
    > in the top box (all or part of filename) type *.dbx

Now click the "more advanced options" button below the search boxes and when it has expanded...................tick the "search hidden files and folders" and the "search subfolders" tick boxes

In the "look in" box make sure it is set to C drive or whatever the main letter of the drive is that you have outlook and windows xp (Im assuming) installed on.

Click search and a few ***.dbx files should be shown in the main pane after the search has completed.
right click on one of them (dont close the search window yet) and select "open containing folder"
Hopefully...you will have picked a relevant one and the folder will contain some more .dbx files (your outlook ones)

Now goto the "view" menu at the top of the file explorer that you are looking at the .dbx files in and select "details".

The files should all appear in a list now as opposed to file icons and there will be dates. Click the column heading for "date" and they will al be in date order.

Whichever one has the date from this incident is the one your after....now write down the file path

and try an import and browse for this .dbx file when you do so

Mr Jones why don't you sell the computer for scrap and put the cash towards more BHP?!
You might leave the S2 fold every so often - but you'll always come back!
