I think this sums it up!

(This is a cut and paste from the Total Audi Forum)

Aug 18, 06 - 1:02 PM THE ALL NEW TOTAL AUDI

While many of you will have been wondering what's been with the delays in recent weeks, I'm here to tell you that we're about to embark on the next phase of Total Audi's development.
As a subscriber, you should feel proud (if not a little frustrated, which I understand) that you have played your part in launching a new magazine for the Audi enthusiast. Publishing in today's climate is no walk in the park, and because of our financial (and my own personal) situation we found it difficult - if not impossible - to keep to our publishing schedule.

Well things are about to change.

Issue 4 is ready and will be printed next week and shipped to you immediately it's ready. From then on, Total Audi will become thicker, glossier, with a perfect bound spine and more pages including classifieds and listings, detailing vital info on every Audi model ever made.

We're going to revamp this website, too, and provide you with more reasons than ever before to continue subscribing to what will be a hugely exciting publication.

So my apologies to all those who feel let down but, please, we're not an IPC or an EMAP. We are passionate people like all of you, and now that we have a new deal in place, it's time to share the passion and the committment to the brightest and best Audi read around.

    Thanks for your support

          anyone have any news...?

I've also had my 3 1/2 issues and have been "reassured" so many times that it's all happening, everything's back on line, bigger, better, etc etc etc....

DAVID - I realise you don't have time to be reading forums all day, but I think it's about time you gave us an update or simply admit that it's not happening

as a non subscriber (sorry i needed more convincing in order to part with my hard earned...) its looks like you are all being taken for a ride. Regardless of how hard David might be working in the background I would imagine in the same position my patience would long since have disappeared. Its the basics, you've paid up and there isnt much to show for it. Not quite what was (is) promised IMO.

If it was me, I'd want to see a list of dates which mags will be landing on my mat and then show that you can deliver against those dates...the time for 'bigger' & 'better' statements I think has long since passed, deliver or I think admit defeat?

Sorry guys but i did warn about this when it was launched, never subscribe to a new magazine, get them issue by issue until they are established.

This is a complete farce in my eyes and i would be taking actions to claim your money back.

Do you think there IS any money to claim back!!!

I could "try" for a laugh!

I have written the money off and put it down to experience

As others have said guys someones pulled your trousers down, wiggled it around a bit and made a mess on the carpet at your expense.

anyway, yes, I do think it's worthwhile everyone claiming their money back - we have every justification - they simply haven't delivered. Whether we'll ever see anything is another question, of course

...in terms of it being a professional-looking publication, I mean, and contrasting that with the inept management behind it. And it was 2002 that he started asking for subs, so we are well over four years and getting on for five. It is amazing it has limped on so long.
