has anybody got one of the following phones a w810i or the w850i as i am in the market for one and i am not quite sure which one to go for it will be usee just as a phone and mp3 player any help would be brill, good or bad thanks. si

I've got the W850i, and as a phone/browser/mp3 player it's the mutts. The sound is excellent with the megabass function. I made the mistake though of not researching it properly before i got it, and as such i find the camera pretty crap. It's 2 meg yes, but doesn't have an autofocus like the K750i. All in all though a good phone.. HTH
I have had a K750 and am now using a K800. The only difference between them really is the camera which is good on the 750 but brilliant on the 800. Both are good MP3 players, just a shame that they haven't come up with a connection on the bottom of the phone so you can use your own headphones as I find the erriccson ones quite uncomfortable!

What you really need is a Sony Ericsson HPM-70 which also lets you use the phone if needed to and also acts as a genuine adapter to allow aftermarket earphones / line out etc But ditch those sony earpods and go for a set of these SENNHEISER MX500 earphones which really make an huge difference and produce an incredible sound for not a lot of money!
Hugley impressed with the 750i and its a terrific phone! Best I ever had! Use it all the time as an MP3 player and if the phones rings you can take the call and then automatically back to the music when done! Pretty decent camera for general shots. I got a 1gb sony duo memory card which cost about £15 off the bay and can get about 8-10 albums on there easily! One of the best bits of kits Ive ever bought!

I've got the k750i and me missus has got the W810. Have to say the'yre fairly similar, in use but the 810's bolted to gether bertter and feels more robust; It makes the 750 look like the cut n' shut of the mobile phone world.
Ive got an 810i and no probs with it at all, one of the better phones ive had. the only prob I have occasionally is it looses signal in a bad area it seems to give up searching. turn it off and on and it comes back with a signal most times.

Very interested in how one doubles the pro duo memory. I don't have access to a Mac. Is it still posssible?

But thats all I use mine for.
I use one of these and they are far more ear friendly AND I use it to plug it into the stereo at home.
