Central locking.

Can anyone shed some light on why my remote central locking has stopped working when I use the key fob. A couple of days ago when I started the car the battery was flat so I disconnected it to charge the battery. I reconnected the following day when fully charged however when I press the key I get the 4 beeps from the system and it doesn't lock but the alarm will go off when I open the door. I have the clifford 650 anti hyjack alarm fitted that worked fine prior to that. The central locking itself still works from the key, if anyone has any ideas then I would appreciate the help. Also how long does the ecu need to learn how the engine works?

Hi, all.

I have a similiar problem to that described above. I have had the car standing for about 3 weeks. Took the battery out and gave it a full charge last night. However, now the remote central locking isn't working.

The driver's door lock won't turn with the key but the passengers does so that's how I can lock the car. The central locking works this way but not remotely.

When I press the key fob the lights flash but not a lot happens.

One noticable thing is that when I unlock the car with the key in the passenger door lock I hear quite a loud 'horn' noise from the passenger side rear. It's very strange.

Any ideas?????

Don't quite know what's going on with it but I'm not complaining!
