    Corey is crocked!!!

Old man Jones rang me this morning to say he had hurt his leg whilst moving something early However I got a second call an hour later from him telling me he and Beth are at the hospital because he has snapped his achillies tendon The doctors will operate today or tomorrow to repair it so he will be out for a while, looks like I will be making the coffees in future! Anyway best wishes to him and fingers crossed for speedy recovery.

Same thing happened to me but it took the hospital 9 months to realise that the Achilles tendon had snapped. I had to be in plaster for 4 weeks and special boot for 7 weeks after the operation. They had to use the big toe tendon to repair the Achilles.
When I snapped it it was the most painful thing ever, I nearly passed out with pain and I was sick.
Corey is lucky that the hospital realised what had happened.
    Good luck Corey.

Hope he gets well soon. I cant imagine how painful that must have been. Whenever u get a stud run down your achillies it hurts so much, snapping it. Anyway get well soon mate.

Pulled both mine a while ago - make mental note; when you pull Achilles tendon, don't carry on 2 days later hoping that remaining one will take the strain - it won't.
Pain was excruciating, so I cannot begin to think what it must be like if snapped.
He's going to need a long rest, and then rest it a lot longer still!
              Good luck.
