    no deal!

good price yes - quality tire no!

P6000s are shocking in the wet, and also I found them to be very edgy at the limit.

P6000s are old tyres and as KaraK says, shocking in the wet.

Check out mytyres.co.uk for some great deals.

P6000 aren't that bad on the S2 if your not pushing your car everyday. I had them on the 16" rims on the Coupe and didn't mind them for everyday driving.

Quattro and 205/55 are going to be different to 185/60 on a 110bhp Golf GTi!! Fair comment.

Eagle F1 225/50s for me. No complaints at all, even the wear rate seems to be acceptable, including far too many traffic light GP starts!

                Karak,

Was returning from a day in sunny Barrow when I passed an 03 WRX on the A590 at 90. Visibility was poor and very wet. Mr.Scooby floored it, I put the S2 to 130, he gave up the ghost, pulled off for A6 Kendal and gave me a nice wave/flash. Bit of respect there for the old S2.

Proper wet roads defo, well seeing as P6000 not popular, will have a re-think.

                Cheers..

I can claim not guilty on that one

Still - always good to see a bit of mutual respect going on there, there are too many t*ss*rs driving scoobs these days, almost makes me ashamed!
