I had a meeting with yellow pages yesterday for the advert for my mobile disco for the coming year. Im going to be listed in the wedding guide section and have just designed myself an advert.

Can you give me some feedback on what you think to it, what I should change or add?

Also maybe instead of saying "call Greg", maybe say "Call us" "Visit us" or something, call greg sounds like a 1 man company or like you share your phone with another company.

Greg, agree with the others...I think "Music and Light Show for your Party/Wedding, etc" is much better grammatically and professionally.

The image is very cool, but depending on what the final size of the ad will be, it may turn out looking like nothing that makes sense. It was definitely good to try and make it more black and white, but maybe making it black on white instead of white on black will help it shrink better.....

Also, and again, depending on the final size of the ad, the beveled text may look muddled after printed. I would suggest going with something with more contrast to stand out more.

Also agree on the "call Greg" suggestion.

You don't mention "DJ" anywhere in the ad!

Give a little more space between the "videos & more..." line and the edge of the box.

Visit the Boogie-Nite website for......would be better....people may think "visit Boogie-Nite? Where? There's no address" Yes, human beings are stupid......

You'll be surprised at how having diagonal shapes in the ad will help the ad to stand out....

I had realised I had missed the entertainment bit off and I had forgotten to spell check it

Ive given it a couple of adjustments and done it with and without bevels.

The advert size is 61 x 62mm

Greg, As I feared, the beveled text gets lost when it's shrunk, you can easily see how much better the plain text stands out....

See how those little diagonal shapes cause the ad as a whole to stand out?

Great advise from Mik.

I would add the following (all nit picking)...

1. Randon CapiTalS in the miDdle of seNtenCes arE sooOo Wrong
2. DJ's are people, so 'Experienced DJ's which tailor' should be 'who tailor'
3. You have 2 mentions of the web address, one with and one without the www. Why not call it a website in the text and then show the address below?
4. Will the lightshow amaze you, or is it an amazing lightshow?
5. Kinda obvious I know, but you don't actually mention that you are a mobile disco service
