    quattro weather ...!

Alright, not exactly North Pole conditions but it's the first snow I've seen since buying the S4. F*** knows what's happening with the weather though. Ski resorts in the Alps are closed, and yet it's snowing in Manchester ...

Quattro weather indeed Just make sure you remember that you've more than likely got a tyre that's not designed for it! It's friction rather than Quattro that helps you to stop! (been a couple of Forum members who have found this out to their cost ).

BUT it's just about the only time that you can seriously powerslide an S car and keep the back end out at some rediculous angles with some impressive control! BTDT

Had snow here too, ventured up onto the peak district hills, well tried too, roads were just too iced up, got waved down by a guy in an ML merc, he told me there was no way i was gonna get doen the pther side of the hill, turned round and went back down, by that time it's nasty like 1st gear going downhill and don't touch the brakes.

          Hmmm, no snow here....yet.
Perhaps I've chosen the wrong time of year to fit 245 tyres!

Well, all I can say after having to go out in it last night is that snow + summer tyres + diff lock button = fun :-)

Woo Hoo snow today. I tried out the diff lock after taking off the speed restriction and it is mental i think i will have to place a switch so the restictor can be turned on and off for safety more than anything else. Also after last year i decided to get proper snow grips instead of half bald summer tyres and this time the heave brute can actually stop
