QST dont real time remap, they install generic MTM chips.

MRC do real time maps to your cars engine.

Also to get the same bhp from a MTM chip vs MRC according to QST the customer must change the turbo.

QST are not value for money IMO are are cheque book tuners.

There are alternatives such as Revo and Corey on here can also have your remapped by a tuner.

QST is just a reseller of MTM products - nothing wrong with that per se - MTM chips are good - Its just that MRC (Mihnea in particular) has amassed much more skill and knowledge on custom remapping expertise on the S2 than the boys at QST can even imagine.

BTW - I have no beef with QST personally - just saying it as I see it ! I would describe QST as the a 'cheque book tuner' who have customers with expensive new Audis that want the go faster treatment in the UK with access to various MTM packages that they are authorised to resell and install... But in my opinion they do not have the depth of knowledge in terms of ECU internals and engine diagnostics as MRC.

Call them both up for a chat/quote and see who is most interested in working on your car - both are busy of course and in demand for differing reasons.

If that is NOT true I would be very careful about posting such accusations on a public board!

If it IS true then I am genuinely very shocked!

I'd be interested to hear what Corey has to say about this somewhat 'unusual' practice, I know he has worked closely with Revo.

A company as big as REVO that offer's a free trial (plus a 30 day no quibble money back guarentee) on their product, must be fishy

I would echo much of the above - nothing against QST (and have never used them), but as said above, they simply install an MTM chip, which is quite aggressive on the boost.

If you want a "safe" custom remap, go to MRC. They know the S2 inside out
