Hmmm, more and more tempted each day. :mischeif:
Are there any issue's with chipping an automatic S4 Paul? I know that the torque delivery differed to the manual cars at least. And does the gearbox use the ECU to govern the shift settings?

....Also, I've had a look around but where the hell is the ECU on these beasts?

Have to say I have never installed such an upgrade on the slushbox variant of the S4.

I do have several auto variants of stock ECU that I could use as the baseline for the same upgraded engine programming... The right stream of software is needed so that the engine ECU communicates with the gearbox ECU, but you would need a modified gearbox ECU if you wanted to modify shift points etc etc - I don't have any knowledge on the gearbox ECU side of things.

The ECU on the AAN equipped cars is in the passenger side footwell - pretty much in the floor actually... Much teasing of trim and carpet required to get to it. When you do - let me know the part number of the ECU and I'll see what I can do...
