Long story short i was out of the country last week and saw it on ebay hence my post about newcastle, lune (Ben) here stepped up to the plate to volunteer to go see it for me, i got home late last night hpi'd it today and found the cat c notice, hence the warning. I almost feel like contacting the seller
That's what I thought but surely £1800 is a lot when you consider the hassle involved to strip it? Also looks a bit too good to break even if it is a Cat C!

Looks like a reasonable buy then! I must admit I liked the look of it when my bro first sent me the ebay link. Nice one!!

Cat D is the lightest and easiest damage to repair.
Cat C is heavier damage and requires chassis repairs or jigging straight iirc
Not necessarily, ive seen cat C cars with lock damage only plus they sometimes need a vic test. Then again ive seen cat C cars that are quite heavy damage and they dont need a vic check .Think its down to the individual assessor.

Didnt realise Cat C's could be non chassis damaged.
