After all the horror stories about people running S2's in the snow I was somewhat apprehensive about taking mine to work this morning. Turns out it was better than anything else I've driven in the snow. As it started to slide in corners, a slight press on the throttle and it pulled straight through.

That's all off boost though. The on boost story is slightly different. Luckily my commute doesn't allow me over 40 mph on a normal day, so it rarely gets on boost anyway. The little bit of boost I let it develop led very quickly to fear!

Birmingham is snow covered and it's still snowing not expected to stop until 3-4pm

The S2 stays at home today as well as the Golf, The Rav4 comes out to play.

St.Albans woke up to a good 4-5 inches of snow this morning. Just gone out in the car to pick up the missus from the station. Trains almost made it into London and then gave up and sent everyone back home again.

Gave me an excuse to take the car out tho. 1st time i've driven it in the snow and was really good. Car pulled straight out and along out street with a 4 inch covering - no slip no drama. Elected to avoid the boost tho Still snowing...

Alright for some. I still had to do the 35 mile trip to work this morning and judging by the way it's coming down now i might be struggling to get home

My S2 is ***** in the snow, like REALLY REALLY bad. 245 Eagle F1's might have something to do with it, but it wouldnt even move out in france. It was especially depressing when I took it to a carpark to have some fun to realise that it wouldnt slide how I was expecting it to!

Was planning to go home to Cardiff from Loughborough today... anyone know what the M42, M5, M50, A449, M4 are like?!?

It's all the others that cause the problems dithering about and getting in the way. There's a lot of hills between here and home and everyone seems forget how to drive
