    Ultimate collection of Audi goodies

Inspired with Paul's thread I have created an excel spread sheet that combines all the normal calculation goodies in one place:

    - Calculate how much power you need to attain desired top speed. Did you know that to achieve 200mph, S2 needs to have 450BHP? You can even calculate now how much top speed you will gain if you lower the car by lets say 20mm.

    - Calculate 1/4 mile times and see the influence car weight has on it. There are only estimates but pretty accurate for s2/rs2 type cars

    - Calculate speeds based on gearbox, drive ratio and tyre size. Thanks to Greg for original spreadsheet to which I have added support for 3 gearboxes (ARV - 5speed 3B S2 box, CGR - ABY box and EDU S4 biturbo box)

    Linky ULTIMATE S2FORUM CALCULATOR

    Cheers!

Using the sheet I created a little table that I wanted to share. It shows the estimated 1/4 mile in seconds (y axis) for given BHP (x axis). I did this for two cars one of 3300 lbs (loaded audi s2) and one for 2000 (lets say peugeot 205 or fiesta). The purpose is to see the effect car weight has on acceleration and why is it so important to make S2 lighter.
I have updated the sheet (link in the first post) with these calculations and chart so you can recreate the case that is interesting to you.

Hey top job! I've had a bit of fun playing with this one

The gearbox selection is a nice touch, would be cool if you could select 3B or ABY Coupe/Avant for the updated weight (and height for the avant) by the same method!

Interestingly, my Coupe (RIP) would have theoretically made it to the redline at 186mph without any issues now it's time to go and do some calculations, and see what I'd need to do to the Avant to make 200mph

I am just glad I could give this forum something back. My next update will feature 1/4 mile estimations for FWD and RWD drive cars. Any other ideas that are mathematically possible?
