click here - not for work or the weak hearted!!

S2Central Note - I hate to mod things really, but this video is nasty and absolutely not for those easily upset. Shall we say its a good reason to keep your seatbelt on. Two guys get seriously injured in this - they might even be dead - its bad.

mmm Whilst I admire the guitar skills here on one level - of sheer accuracy, physical dexterity and the like... but on a level of pure musicality its a bit p!sh really.

Gimme Angus Young, Jimmy Page, Jimi Hendrix or Ty Tabor anyday... Or Steve Vai, JoeSat, Jeff Beck, Richie Blackmore (on a good night) just as much... Or Brian May, SRV, Alex Lifeson etc etc - but I have no truck with this flight of hand, bang the soundboard keich while d!cking about with open chords for the sake of it. Just my tuppence worth. I ****** love guitar but if only I could play as well as I could hear

I certainly couldn't do this thing that I am poo-pooing here but I honestly wouldn't want to emulate it... Whereas the solo on AkkaDakka's 'Ride On' just gives me goose bumps just thinking about it Not that I can play that either, but I hope you get *my* drift ....

There's a few musos on here for sure - some I've rumbled and some still lurking no doubt. :rock

I can see your point there paul but accoustic is a totaly differant technique to electric
,i was just showing something you dont come across every day of the week .i love satriani but you have to be in mood .you can play the accoustic stuff without upsetting

Nout wrong with Acoustic - some of my favourite Jimmy Page escapades are the old old acoustic numbers - and I don't mean stairway I'm also prone to a bit of Ry Cooder and yes you are right about needing the right mood for JoSat - all those notes whizzing past at 300mph are a bit tiresome !

                              Sorry Paul, but

Please define the level of 'pure musicality' where Andy McKee's style is 'a bit p!sh'.
