Don't 944 calipers have lugs on them?

Tis fair to say that the Porsche 996 calipers are the normal bolt-on upgrade for the front of the S2. Search the forum for that - there are a few options involving bolton carriers, disc and pad choices.

944 caliper's are lug mount, they match the Audi bolt pattern but the offset and the radius are wrong for you to have a big disc.
Anything is possible, we've machined a pair of these caliper's before to be a radial mount (as in the 996) but it is not cost effective to do this

you've machined a set of lug mount calipers to be radially mounted?????
jeez - that sounds suicidal! Surely there isn't the 'excess' material there to have a hole drilled through for mounting?

... or do you mean you've machined a set of carriers to convert the mounting mechanism?

          Would love to see pics!

There was more than enough room to convet these caliper's to what we required.

Images hmmm??? we are going back into the depths of time here, they were fitted to an ur quattro many years ago (in a galaxy far, far away)
