saw these earlier and thought exactly the same.....off the shelf parts unless you are doing something seriously exotic makes much better sense, especially as the monos and A8 discs provide excellent increase over stock setup anyway.....mate the monoblocks to a set of DS2500 ferodo pads and you'll be well set

kit would cost over £3,000 from the shops.

please note this is for both sides, not just one as pictured. there are 2 of everything pictured except the bolts, but there are enough for both sides.
Never seen a kit like this before, bmw pads Not surprised if it retails at £3000 no one in there right mind would pay that for it.

Not sure if i would want my breaking increased on my S2 though, i manage it enough as it is

Still it is for both sides, thats handy

            re

DONT EVEN THINK ABOUT BUYING FROM THIS GUY ! !
I sold my standard rims to him and disclosed their condition, ie, corrosion etc.Tread was ok on the tyres.
He opened a dispute on ebay and claimed the wheels were not as described, and the tyres illegal as they are 3-4 mm !
As the legal limit is 1.6 mm I thought he was havin a bubbly baff !
Some people i think deliberatly open a dispute to be chancers, and blag money back

Those are BMW E38 brembos. I have few sets, payed around 70eur per used set in local scrapyard, so these are cheapest 4 pots I've managed to get locally (much worse, but working condition). However they are not easy to fit, accept 28mm disc orginally, and it is not performance oriented caliper in terms of heat dissipation, size, rigidity and accepted disk dimensions, don't think they will work well with anything above 315mm. And of course you need custom disk (probably) and custom brackets.

In general to describe those calipers I would say - what you pay is what you get.

Porker 996 monos are worth every penny IMHO.
