After the stinker in Israel does England have a chance of making it into the Euro Cup?
I hear Rooney and McLAren had a blow-up and Skipper John Terry thinks some players are losing faith in McLarten. Personally McLaren was and is a very bad choice.
I do love this forum for the way its always the Americans that bring up English football
I dont think hes the right man for the job and all performances so far have been totally uninspired and the latest result shows how underperforming they are.
They really need someone to whip them up together and get the best out of them!

No he's not tactically he's too negative and makes like for like swaps.
He could have changed it in a number of ways, personally 2nd half I would have gone 4-3-3 without having to make a sub.
Rooney left Johnson through the middle and Lennon right.
Lampard and Gerrard in centre mid with Hargreaves holding.
He should have played Defoe with Johnson when he made the sub and Barry should have come on a left back instead of swapping neville giving a balanced left side attack.
I think it doesn't really matter what manager is chosen as the England team boss these days, the players just don't seem to give a monkey's chuff about playing for their country any more.
The majority of those England players, for their clubs, play a significantly better, faster, more committed, more skilful game than they do when they turn out for England.
When you earn > £5million a year for your club, the motivation to play well for England against some apparent "2nd tier" nation clearly just isn't there. Also, the majority of the England players seem to get picked regardless of how they perform, or how fit (or not) they are. They're complacent.
Sack the players as well as the boss that's my solution!

McClaren was on the verge of being sacked by Middlesborough not long before they made him the England boss - if that isn't a warning sign, I don't know what is
The guy has no charisma - can you really imgaine him inspiring the players at half time ?? he's from exactly the same school as Sven, and was a knee jerk appointment by the FA when they were embarressed about approaching another manager .....
The players do need a rocket up their a**e - but he isn't the man to do it ..... should have got Martin O'Neill when they had the chance.
You know, I just don't think it is just English Football, but a lot of pro sports in general. They just don't have give a damn when they are doing anything for country.
Example, USA mens teams at Athens. Baseball and Basketball. Complacency and thinking they are god like. They get there asses kicked. Served them right.
Now you take the USA womens Teams in Softball and Basketball. They still believe in the game and have fun. Therefore, they play like this is last game, every game.
Pro players, men, are paid too much money, making them thinking they are great and laws, manners, etc. don't apply to them.
Not all, but most.
Just my 2 cents.

Never give the job of being the boss to the "right hand man". It's crazy - they did the same in the England Rugby Team when Sir Clive Woodward resigned after winning the world cup. They gave the job to Andy Robinson in the name of "continuity" - now, Andy Robinson's a nice guy, he was a VERY good forwards coach, and was clearly a good adviser to the big boss man, but when he was promoted to being the big boss man, he didn't have a clue when it came to seeing the bigger picture, stamping his own authority and plan on the squad. The result was the joint worst manager in English Rugby Union history.
Same with McLaren - zero charisma, complete inability to think beyond what his predecessor had done, zero ability to see the bigger picture and the result is the worst ever manager in English Association Football history.
