strange A4 turbo sport problem.

i know it's not IL5,but i feel a right dummy.i put an atmospheric dump valve on it(even though i warned the owner about them).but by mistake i put it on the intake .then realised and put it on the boost side.but when it opened it made a duck sound .so does the original now.i've checked all jubilee clips twice.hope it's not because i put it on wrong.any idea's? cheers,phil

I was under the impression that a 1.8t won't run right with an atmospheric dump valve - the MAF needs the air to be recirculated or it gets its knickers in a twist.

Post the question on www.audi-sport.net - plenty of FI 4-pot experience on there...

@ 4wheeldrifter .it didn't sound as bad as that but i know it to be a normal atmospheric dump valve.but even the original one sounds like it now although not as loud because it's all plumbed back as standard.
