What is wrong with people?

Oh here we go again - 3 times now in the last 3 months...

Yes, again, some moronic parking-disabled "driver" has decided to use the side of my car as a handy tactile indicator as to where they can park. So, I now have a lovely blue painted dent on the back of my left rear wheel arch, which matches quite nicely the black painted dent at the front of same said wheel arch and left rear door, which goes very nicely with the foot-enabled dent in my front left wing.

I suppose it's a good thing I didn't get around to repairing said wheelarch yet as now they can do the whole panel in one go.

What the frack is wrong with people? I'm getting absoloutley bloody sick of this - 7 years I've gone with not a single scrach on any old car I've owned, and now I have a 3-year old A4, I get all this.

Did they leave a note -of course not, miserable *******s, they probably didn't even notice.

Richmond - b*llocks. And I have to pay for the privilage of parking here too.

I feel for you,,, nothing worse!
I have started taking a quick pic of both cars I park between (if i have to) just incase they give me door dent....
My wife was sat in my previous RS2 at the supermarket, car pulls up next to her, Bang! stupid cow getting out smacks her door into mine! then sits back down and starts up to move parking spots!!! our lass soon gave her the tonque lashing of the century, got her details and she paid the £200 to sort the dent.
SHe said "ooh look at mine its only 18 months old and its covered in dents" no shitt sherlock! I wonder why?

Bloody hell Dan, sorry to hear that, your not having much luck lately eh.
I think that there's a lot to be said for driving a £200 ******* around these days. A lot less stress involved about where you leave it, or what happens to it. It breaks down after a year ot two in anything more than a minor way, replace it with another *******.

I'm more than tempted myself, especially as I'm sort of planning on making the move to the Capital myself at some point too.

Sad that anything nice like your motor can't be kept that way due to other's stupidity or ignorance.

I always park as far away as I can from the main door as, possible...

Some of the red neck frikin hill billy ick's out here dont give a sh*t, i saw one bloke using a New 5 series BMW and a lexus to get his car centered. He reversed in till he hit, drove forward till he hit--with a bit of force as well, just to use all of his space. he was about a year older than Yoda, in his pringle clothes and scouled at me as i gawped with my jaw on the floor--I got his plate and reported it to the hotel the cars were parked in front off.
My car has quite a few dings in it and will be getting re-sprayed later this year, then its going to be a special use only car.

It's a strange thing that we lavish so much care and attention on our cars.
Having been on holiday to Naples / Sorrento in Italy last couple of weeks, we were horrified to look at all the cars, and I mean just about all the cars we saw had scratches and bumps all over them.
Even saw a Ferrari with dings all over the doors.
Some of the cars looked as if they had been driven through a four foot gap, even though they were about four foot six wide.
I would never ever think of buying a newish car if I lived out there.
My S3 was scratched all down one side by some oik on a bike when it was parked outside the hospital my misses works at. You could see the little b*gger on the cctv but not well enough to tell who he was.
I'd give him bike if ever I caught him

yep had a lady do this the other day when i was sat in my car and i shouted form inside the car " oi watch it " was in a good mood so i never went mad then she turns around and says " well what do you want me to do about it ive got three kids im looking after " well i was gob smaked .. of course the kids made her do it ...
my reply then was " well i hope you look after your kids better than your car " .


when she left i got out of my car checked for damage and there was a dent with paint on the door her colour paint,,, this made me mad so i carefully opened my door and yep nice rubbing stip on side of me door lined up perfectly with the middle of her door and well i can safely say an audi door is much much stronger than a fiat .. and well i only did this because of her loud mouth ... i think the insurance call it knock for knock dont they ...

Cow! sounds like she needed dry bumming!
I would have found her and got her insurance details or got her to pay for the repair. No grub for the kids for a week might get through her thick head that damage is damage!!!!
