S2 avant boost problems

Hi guys hope you can give me some ideas of what my problem could be i was travelling up the motorway in sixth i had been travelling for about an hour and had had no probs whatsoever when i put my foot down as it went past 0.5 bar it cut out and lost power it did this in every gear i stopped and had a check under the bonnet but couldn't see anything untoward so had a coffee got in and started off on my journey everything was back to normal the boost was fine then a little later down the road it started again it was fine if i held it at 0.5 but anything over that i would lose all power! ive had it chipped by s2central if your out there have you got any ideas??

Rik does this only happen at WOT?
i guess you normally see about 1.5bar with a home fry?
It could be the sign of a failing coil pack, or just a pesky boost leak? have you done the Mark H mod its always worth doing as the o-rings fail.
Try a bit of gas leak detector spray on all the boost connections and then put a bit of load on the engine

Mine does this from time to time but giving the MAF a good clean with alcohol isopropil usually sorts it out.

its the air flow meter rik
is sits between the air box and the maf hose
