    Hi all

Hi guys, how are you all doing? It's a very long time I've been away from this forum and, actually, from a lot of fun things....
Well.... life sometimes gets tough, expecially when you have to fight for your family.
I had an almost finished 500 Hp project on going, but since the problems started (about 1.5 years ago) my beloved S2 got stuck on the ramps partially disassembled and she is still there. Things are now getting a little better, but I actually lost most of my enthusiasm and now, with very little time and no money to spend (lowyers are expensive, sh**), I'm frankly unable to get back into the project....
Well I'm just thinking of selling all the goodies I've collected thorugh the years and, since my S2 does no more have any significant value in the italian market, actually I might think of completing the disassembling of my car and selling all the interesting parts.

Just would like to know your opinion....

    A legend returns...

Marco, not that I know you all that well - I think most of your last posts were from my 'pre S2' forum days, but I have read many of your posts

I am sorry to hear that life has not dealt you the best cards in recent months, especially as you say this involves your family; I sincerely hope that things can ultimately work out as best they can from their current situation.

Of course, I'd say keep the beast under a blanket and resurrect the project in future years when you can... alas, if there really is no other way and it *has* to be sold then I'm sure that selling via the forum, ebay etc would give you best value - I'm sure you have plenty of goodies that would get much better prices sold via the forum of fleabay. Of course that takes some time. Definitely the mods would be best to sell independent of the car, and put that back to stock if you have the means!

Good luck in whatever you do, I'm sure there will be plenty more input here during 'normal working hours'

Hi Marco, nice to hear from you. Dont disasemple the car. You have it there mate. There is not much more to be done.

Your Stroker project was an "inspiration" for many of us going the Stroked way.

        Don't give up!

        cheers,

        Vasilis

          Hi Marco,

It's good to hear from you, even although it sounds that things have been very difficult for you over the last 18 months. Your quality input has been sorely missed.

...as for the car, they're nice to have but fall way down the priority list when real life comes first.

If it's not costing you money to hold onto the S2, then it might be worth keeping it for a while longer... but if you need to sell, then I'm sure the forum will help you out.

          Hope everything goes your way.

Thanks guys. Of course disassembling the car is something I hate to do but I cannot see other way since I really don't have anymore time and money to complete and fine tune the car. It probably is the only way not to completely waste at least the money spent during the past years. About the time spent, I don't regret anything I did 'cause it made me grow with the help and assistance of this forum. Sharing my mechanical experiences with the S2 community has been my greatest fun.
....At least I can hope some of the parts I have will live in someone else project....

I still don't exactly know how to menage this: The parts are actually a lot, some of them brand new (like the GT30R, 550 cc injectors and much more), and some are big and heavy (like cylinder heads, 6 speed gearboxes, alloy wheels, Recaros and other stuff)....

Need to ask Martin what he thinks about this. In the past he managed a "group buy" of parts from here to England which allowed keeping the shipping costs low enaugh. If there is enaugh interest here in the forum it might be possible to do something similar.

              Ciao

                            Hi Marco.

In some ways it is good to hear from you again. The forum has really missed you. I'm sorry that you bring more bad news.
It does seem a real shame that your brilliant project could end like that. A lot of us here were really keeping an eye on your progress with it. Thanks again for sharing it with us.
Maybe if you can hang around on s2forum a little more, you can rekindle some of your enthusiasm for your S2. I am worried that when your current situation improves, you may have regrets if you don’t complete this project, and if the remains get tossed to the vultures. I know for some of us here that would be a very sad outcome, on top of losing a much liked and knowledgable member.

                            Ciao.
