Spot on, not only the colour coding, but the whole grille is wrong. The RS2's mesh is smaller and the rim bigger. Sits a lot further in too.
Seems Audi were a little sloppy. Look at the below picture, it's from the RS2 sales brochure. Thats no RS2 inlet manifold, it's an ABY with a plate sat on the top.

My german manual looks just like that too. Might be some prototype RS2.

Dont forget the manuals are made up pre mass production so they may have changed the prototype design of the IM and Grill for mass production.

As a pre order option you could specify the colour of the grill surround on the manual to co ordinate with your car.....Alastair
