    RS2 rear pads

Noticed that the rear pads on my RS2 are needing to be changed soon.

Does anyone know the best place and possible price for these?

Also are they pretty straight forward to fit as I have not taken the ones on an RS2 apart before.

Depends what pads you want, how much abuse you give your brakes, how much you want to pay?
Easy to fit, if you don't have any corrosion under the guide plates.
Most do have corrosion of some kind, this pushes the plates up, and makes it impossible to slide correct sized pads in. That's my experience.
I ended up fitting Textar from GSF, cheap option, I Have standard callipers the stopping power is adequate but no more.
I'll definatley be changing to better discs and pads next time round.

      Thanks for your reply.

Do you have a part number for them and also a price so I can compare them?

My brother has just fitted Mintex racing pads to his Mitsubishi and seems to swear by them now. Thought I might give them a try if they do them.

I use SBS pads in mine, get em from questmead.co.uk. ask for John tell him i sent you. should be about £65 for fronts, possibly cheaper rear?
These are superb for the money! brilliant cold, unbelieveable hot!
And if I can't fade them on track, then no one can!

Got a reply back with this price.

The rear pads would cost you £88.00 + VAT
and carriage, so the total will come to £112.74

Does this seem like the right price or can they be bought anywhere else cheaper?
