How did you manage to get that drive Rob?
Are you being sponsored or what? or have you always been into track racing?
I have spent most of my driving life, learning the trade, had a big push in 2000. I did the Caterham Superlight championship, and a winter season Formula Palmer Audi, then lost my sponsor!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! which was Barclaycard, BLOODY football!!!!
Financed myself in 2002 in the superlights, came 5th in the championship. driver of the year! and when i say financed myself... I prepped the car, drove the van to the meetings, then slept in the van, fixed car during the night after a box fault or something! then raced, drove the van home, off to work next day... very knackering year!
I then ran a team in Bedford for three years, had a break from prepping/running team.
I have been asked to be third driver this year!!! no spanners just my *** in the seat!
so pleased! I will also be at Silverstone in the worlds fastest MG midget that I run and built for a customer.23rd june. its 210 bhp in 600kgs and still looks like a midget!
