Yes spotted this in my brother's copy of Autocar - extraordinary machine.
(Same Autocar rather stupidly states that the TT Speedster on the cover is faster than the R8 also on the cover ....then inside the story states nothing of the sort and says TT Speedster concept has 300bhp ...yeah, it's gonna be faster than the 187mph listed for the R8 ....NOT!!!)

Figures dont seem to be that good for the power it has.There are plenty of modified mk2/3 golfs out there with better figures from much lower hp.1991 90 quattro 20v sport 450 bhp

Autocar quoted a sniff over 200mph so there's a conflict in stories.
It's well executed if nothing else!
The W12 is a very very heavy engine so adding a pair of turbos will do nothing to make it any lighter.

The car will be limited to 155 if it goes into production anyhow as there is a german agreement with the goverment that all cars will be limited to that speed.Comment
