    20v UR Quattro/S2 ABY

Just got me thinking the other day, the comparison between a standard RR 20v Ur Quattro and a standard S2 ABY...

Power wise not much in it, 10 brake hardly much to notice..but considering the rawness of the UR, arguably the daddy of daddys! And the more refined S2 what is it that really sets them apart, apart from the pure rally pedegree of one...

I remember we used to have a 10valver Ur, wasnt the fastest of things but boy did it bring a smile to your face and give u a darn good buzz everytime you pressed the accelerator and heard that magical GROWL
    I cant say much about the 20v UR because it wasnt standard, was looking at near 300bhp P U R E A W E S O M E N E S S

So yeah, if you could give me an insight on your views on both cars, handling, performance and basically the lot, cheers
Views and comments apreciated on the two cars

Standard ABYs are big heavy brutes with plenty of cruising ability and huge torque from 3k onwards but they aren't cars that 'handle' and do struggle for straight line acceleration against some modern competitors. What you do have (as with any S2) is GRIP and absolute refinement! Shifting the handling balance away from understeer and shifting the torque curve up towards the red-line increases the thrill of the car but does reduce the refiniment somewhat.

Never been in an RR but I want one and would love to have the £15k or so that is required for a really good one.
