I'll take plenty when I do mine and post them. I'm working on the assumption i'll be going through them backwards to put the thing back together again.

I've no choice mate. I've an engine with 103,000 in one car with the back end caved in so it all has to go into the shell i'm getting off Sal. I work with the confidence of a man that isn't hampered by the knowledge of all the things that could go wrong. Blissful ignorance I think they call it. It'll be a freakin' miracle if the car works properly after i'm finished my butchering.
Rich - what's the aim of your engine removal shenanigans?--------------------------------------------------------------------

haha. i'll be going for a fairy liquid detail and concentrating on getting the parts attached back in the right places again. may go to the lengths of a steam clean so I can see some of the components though.--------------------------------------------------------------------

I steam cleaned all the parts, and the engine bay,and for what its worth I labled every thing in resealeable plastic bags, and its best to wright everything down, you think you will remember ,but you don,t. Take as many pictures as you can, this was the mistake I made,I took pictures of the engine in bits but not for referance, big mistake, and Iwill say it again ,you think you will remember but you won't.
Last but not least, do not get depressed when you look at that empty engine bay and the pile of nuts and bolts, wishing you had never started, and you will, but just remember, what came out will go back in.
