Problems again!! Need a little help!

Got the engine swapped in and the car running. FINALLY!! Car idles fine, but after a short drive the car seems to drag and slow down. Get home and the damn turbo and pipe is freaking GLOWING RED !!!!

Car is a 3B that is almost entirely RS2'ed now.

Big thing I still have NOT received my map ships from my USA Mihnea supplier.

So, the car is still running stock 3B ECU. Is that why the Turbo glows??

How many have 3Bs with RS2 Mihnea chips????

Are you running an RS2 turbo with a stock 3B chip? In that case is going to run very lean, if it were me i would unplug the WGFV to stop it boosting until you get a chip sorted.

too true!
way to blow your engine is to keep driving it.
It will be running way way lean. Either park it up and wait for the chips...or as macandmar says...drive at low rpm off boost.
If it were me I wouldnt run it again without the correct chips.

Yes, I figured that may have been my problem... I had the FPR vacuum line disconnected by accident and the car ran super rich, but ran fairly well, but not to full potental of course. I then noticed the vacuum line not connected, fixed it and got better milage and less fuel usage. I figured I was good, but then got the glowing red turbo, and horrible exhaust droning noise!!!

I had the US Mihnea supply send me a RS2 spec chip set, and it did not work. So he claims to be talking with mihnea to get the correct chips thta do work. I have been waiting a while.
