After sorting the car out and remember it is not remapped or got the RS2 turbo on yet I have a little test that I have done on my car. Not actually gone to WOT yet but for those that know the area I live in and work. Out of the Tesco Center on the Dodwells and right up towards leicester. Right then.

Out of the tesco car park and floor it. By the end of the car park managed to hit 80mph (unfortunatley hit the limiter in 2nd aswell !!). Not measured the distance but about 150m.

Is that good or bad???

Not been up against any of you guys on a strip yet so can't really guage it myself.

To tell the truth the car is behaving better after all this rebuilding than it did before the strip down. Only thing is the damn thing is mega thirsty......

Fast is when it makes you grin for the rest of the day

At a local set of traffic lights that are 100m or so apart I can hit 60+ but that is with a proper launch so 80 in 150m sounds about

Lol I used to use an old road near mine which was hardly ever used but had decent width and a grass run off verge. If I could hit 90 before it then the car was good, anything more than that a bonus. Will have to try it in the s2 now as it was in coupe gt and quattro's.

There's a road near me that is virtually unused, wide and has a straight almost exactly 1/4 mile long. Nice!
