how was you driving the car to get that? from what i've heard if you floor it quite hard there is an overboost function which will let the car boost a bit higher. Does it do the same if you do it easier?

Its best not to mess with the WG spring unless you really know what you are doing.

Stock spring unadjusted with stock ECU software gives 0.4bar boost with WGFV disconnected and ~1.2bar in overboost mode on ABY (nominal max is 0.8bar).

Properly upgraded ECUs give ~1.4bar max boost and do NOT require the WG spring to be tampered with.

You can screw around (literally) with stronger WG springs on factory software but its not recommended as the fuelling and ignition provided by the stock ECU will not be as they should be at the higher boost levels... Of course the FPR provides assistance for fuel at extra boost but it aint that simple.

if I dont hammer it it is fine but if the boost go up it is not comming down. For the WG spring I bought the car with a 8v golf velve spring in the WG. In South Africa it is a problem finding the right stuf for my car.

Strongly suggest that you get a standard WG spring for yours... Then you can see how it drives on standard boost/overboost... And if you want some more oomf - getting you safely into 1.4bar overboost territory then I can help you with some ECU software if you like. Do a search here on 'homefries'
