no, it wasnt restricted to my tent. challenged and did 50 push ups within a circle of watching forum members near gazebo i think it was 50, lost count due to the chilean merlot

Car looks great as expected Brian.

Although it appears you have incorrect coolant (blue as opposed to pink) and therefore must be excluded from winning any show n shine prizes due to Un-OEMness and the possible risk of engine corrosion due to not following Audis prescribed fluids list

When S2's were invented the pinky stuff wasnt out on sale so sticking with the original OEM blue :mischeif:

I am impressed you managed to prepare your car at all after all that wine! you were into the second 1.5 litre bottle when I left at 6.00pm

It was great to meet up with some old faces and meet a few new members. I would have loved to have stayed and had a few beers with you all, but my daughter Thea was waiting for me at home. :coo:

See you all at ADI in October where I am hoping to bring two cars and enter the Concours comp again with the S2.....

P.S. The Space Hoppers races were hilarious

Nice pics Brian, your car was beautifully presented. I think the fact that Matt was polishing at 9am offset your midnight detailing! Glad you found your tent alright, one minute you were snoring away in your chair and the next you were gone, hence the quote below! I tried to match your press-up challenge but ended up eating mud after 25 or so! All good fun

Do you remember the Rover full of chavs who ended up destroying their 'box right next to the Forum stand?!

We had a great weekend.

Disgusted with the state of Si's car, Brian decided he would clean the bonnet and half of the wings.

Apparently this was Si's first time on a space hopper.

You know I am sure that I would have won the 'spit n shine' thingie had my boy not been drunk AND on the phone whilst he was washing my car....****** fool only managed to bonnet and front wings before being lured back by a 3rd barrel of wine and a mad desire to perform a bizarre form of press-up which involved varely moving your arms

Personally, I think he was scared of the potential competition and decided to knobble the closest competition, as those wheels were perfect when I got there

P.S. On the otherhand, Brian was a brave man to even take on the front end of my car and whilst he did a great job on the wings, I think even he was stumped by the 100 grit grade paint on my bonnet

Will do the wheels next year

and also finish the wings, doors, roof, rear, etc

In fact, as i enjoy the odd detailin job over a glass(barrel) or two of wine i may do an engine detail/bodywork clean as a raffle prize next year if anyone thinks thats a good idea.

I dont pretend to be an expert, but have picked up some good tips from Fat Audi 80since being on the forum.
