My old car has come back from the dead

This was a an unexpected surprize, I receaved a letter today from a man I have never met. Apparently he has just completed a full restoration on a sumbeam alpine I use to own back in 1976,and he wants to bring it down to suffolk to reaquaint me with the car.I have to say this is realy exciting news,I loved this car,and apparently its a very rare Harrington series D conversion, british racing green,spoke wheels and a fixed head coupe, bit like the s2,only 30 years older.I did'nt know it was that rare at the time ,but I have to say Ihad never seen one before or since. He has sent me a picture of the car,and I will take some and post them on hear for anyone who might be interested.
I wonder how long it will be before this sort of thing starts happening to us with the s2

Be interesting to see, i sold on my coupe quattro but still miss it, now owned by darren who helps out redline etc. would be good if I could find some more details of the car and what he's doing with it.
