Does anyone have opinions on wheel sizing for a track oriented car? At the moment I am running 19's, which are far too big and was wondering whether I would be better off with 17's or 18's, personally I'd like as small as possible, but I'm not sure whether 16's would fit over my 323mm front discs.
16" Avus 'just' fit over the 323mm discs with 996 monos but its tight.. If you want to use different lightweight race wheels then you might have clearance issues. Spacers may be required, or you could play safe and upsize them to 17" or 18".

For track I can't image somebody using 16" wheels. 17" is minimum, with 18" to be better choice

I take mine on the track in standard form. Great fun and it really shows how these cars handle when driven hard. Well worth doing.
