    power steering pump!

when the car is on tick over there is a annoying sound coming from the pulley which is driving the power steering pump! can anyone tell me if it is possible to strip the pump as i think the bearing is collapsing or is in need of changing! how hard is it to change?????? or how much is a direct repalcement? by the way i purchased my NEW RS4 alloys for the s2 and it looks surprisingly nice, i went for the 35 offset.

the pump is on bushings not bearings. Probably the best you can do is to buy a new one. Probably the vanes inside and the rotor is damaged, so, + gaskets. Buy a new one! I have spent 2 times more like new one tryng to repair the old one.
      Hope this helps!
