RS2 on TV

Don't know if anyone else saw the programme but this morning at 9:00am on Discovery Turbo (Sky 523) there was a programme called Classic Car Club. They were doing a feature on Lamborghini's then all of a sudden Penny Mallory started talking about an estate car that could more or less keep up with a Lamborghini. Then an RS blue RS2 appeared. I nearly jumped out of my chair as you don't often see them on tv.

I was hoping there was a plus 1 hour channel but they don't do it for that channel.

I searched the tv guide but could not find it again.

I have contacted Discovery.com so hopefully they will be able to tell me if it will be coming back on.

We had a request at the AOC from the production company of that program for an RS2. Not sure if they managed to source one from the club, but we supplied a few names

I'm surprised Penny Mallory was even remotely interested, she usually poo-poos Audis because they are "boring" ...funny, therefore, to see her get all excited about one of her old warhorses, a Sapphire rally car with... yes, you guessed it, 4wd...

I got an email saying they are looking into it.

The programme does not seem to be on Sky now.

Have you tried searching for a torrent of it - there's probably someone in the world somewhere who watched it, recorded it and has uploaded it on a torrent fileshare for the benefit of all humanity?

Looks like its quite an old series (no surprises Sky are still showing it then lol)

They are repeating all of the classic car club programmes on Discovery Turbo 523.

The one with the RS2 is about 15 minutes into the programme about the Lamborghini before the Porsche 928 comes on.

It has already been on at 8:00am but don't worry if you missed it as it is on at about 12:00 then 3:00 and then later on in the evening.

Worth watching even if it only lasts a few minutes. Also the badge on the back is on the wrong side.

If you have cable it's on channel 221. They are running Classic Cars all day (pretty much). The RS2 is on at 13.00
