MOT failed today, advice needed!

Been 3 long months without broadband so Ive got lots of back reading to do now im reconnected.
MOT failed on bust tie rod, broken centre exhaust bracket and a dim driver headlight? Tie rod is easy fix but not sure on the dim headlight? I was thinking maybe worn wiring or plug causing reduced power? Any ideas guys?
Also failed on side indicator not working, the wire is really short and gets disconnected so easy fix........unbelieveably Audi stealer quoted me £50 to fix without even lookin at problem

It's more likely to be the bulb, a tarnished reflector or a pitted lens.

Normally, they will tell you if the bulb is suspect so have a good look at the lens and reflector.

Also check the ground for that light, i have reparied many similar problems by fixing the ground wire. Poor ground will make light glow dim.
