What do you think of an M3

About a year ago I drove an RS2 and it blew me away. first real experience in a sports car and it left my heart racing for a while! yesterday i drove an M3 (around 340hp so more than the RS2) and I found it quite tame!

I'm very worried by the fact that I dont find 340hp exciting! I've heard people say that the forces you feel in an RS2 are like nothing else, which I hope explains me finding the M3 tame ....

how does say, the new RS4 compare to the M3 in terms of thrills? I hope I dont have to start looking at 550hp+ cars to get my heart racing, can not afford that!

All about traction I think. The quattro systems allows you to put more horses on the tarmac at once. The M3s traction control would probably prevent you utilising the full power of the car. Problably pull much the same through 3rd, 4th etc.

You're prolly just feeling the difference between a turbocharged car and a NA one. My friend has an M3 and it's no slouch when you keep it on the boil, just doesn't have that initial 'punch' you get from the turbo'ed RS2, but I think the M3 is faster.
