Rolling road day Aug 11th Castle Combe

Had a great day out at this years VW/Audi day at castle combe

Came across Constable Caseys mini rolling road day in a seclusive garage out the back past some bushes in the paddock area

quite exclusive too with a few porsches and a lambo muira getting worked on.

Rolling road looked the business, and the bloke running it was friendly and informative.

Two runs in 4th gear came in at £50, so decided to have a go. will post up results once ive scanned the graphs.

I told him about the forum, so if any of you guys are interested it may be worth organising a mini rolling road day at the next track session at castle combe in oct. we may even get a group discount as well :mischeif:

that sounds cool i'd be interested, was good to see the cars on the rollers, got a video of robo's shorty which i'll post up asap. Just one thing which was ammusing/worrying was that light above the car was wobbling a bit too much

Sounds pretty good, do you know what rollers they are using? Got some contact details? might be a good venue for an RR day later down the line

Andy should know the contact details he has work done on his car there quite often. Dastek rollers IIRC.

They are indeed Dastek rollers and the place is called circuit motors but i do not have a contact number for them but i'm sure Andy/Brian has.

I would be interested in a run in Oct, FYI people this rolling road also reads your air/fuel ratio, essential to see if your car is fuelling correctly.

Sounds like a mini-meet, rr day depends when tho in oct as there is coombe again and iirc andy's ring trip.
