Yes and Yes although the K24 7200 is a special unit with K26 internals.

You would need bigger injectors, bigger IC and a remap to use it. To get full potential out of it you would need a new exhaust manifold, downpipe and exhaust, fuel pump and uprated rods.

This upgrade is particularly easy in terms of ECU for an ABY or AAN engine as the RS2 software (and tweaked versions of) can be used with ease. Needs treatment by a specialist for 3B applications as the ECU needs to be mapped properly for it. Too much boost on this turbo and you'll turn your conrods into metallic bananas... Good name for a band that - 'Metallic Bananas' - coming to a pub near you

          Buy one get one free!

SteveH car with an RS2 turbo on standard rods admitly running high boost. The RS2 turbo can produce serious torque and it's the torque that will bend the rods.

The rods were bent in both directions, one has a ripple running down it.

Having an ABY makes no difference infact 3B rods are stronger than ABY's

It's all to do with the amount of torque the turbo can produce and the RS2 turbo can easily produce more torque than the standard rods can handle.

As Dan said or S2central does a homefry RS2 chip which would work for your needs.
