    Towing without front cross memeber?

I need to tow my car out of the bottom of my drive on to the top to load onto a trailer. Its quite steep but only 30-40yards.
Should it be ok to do it with out re attaching the front cros member? I havent an engine in it at the moment and there is the support rod from behind the tow hook to the chassis. What are peoples opinions, yes it should be fine, no i will bend the front of it.
    Thanks
    Michael

Should be fine, thats the load bearing tow point with or with out the front crossmember on.

No issues taking out, it's been sitting nearly two years but i did alot of work the past couple of weeks and it just rolled out no problems.
Now cant wait to get it up to the garage Monday then not long till it lives again!
        Thanks
