I was as disappointed to learn about the problems with Ross' car as much as the next person. However, I think Quattronics should be judged primarily on how they respond to this problem and not exclusively on the fact that the problem occurred in the first place.
I would be surprised if all garages and tuners haven't had similar issues at some point in the past....
fivepotnoodle, I presume you must have had a bad personal experience of service from Quattronics that was left unresolved? If not, I think your comment is at best unhelpful...
I have taken my car to Quattronics several times for various maintenance and performance upgrades and can happily confirm, based on my experience that Quattronics are a reputable company and stand by their work.....
I fully intend to visit Quattronics again in the future and look forward to hearing more about how they solve this particular customer problem. (as this seems to be in the public domain....)
I personally believe issues like this should be kept off forum until such time that the customer is certain matters will not be resolved fairly to their satisfaction.
At this point, it is still surely a personal matter between Quattronics and Ross?RS2+ (now sold...)Comment

Indeed, very sensible words Lloyd. A garage should never be judged on honest mistakes, but how they resolve them, if indeed they were responsible.
I have not been to Quattronics as a very good friend owns 2 local garages, so whilst I don't know Corey, I must agree with Lloyd that we need to wait for the Ross and Corey to announce what they agree to be the cause, solution (and blame if any) for this unfortunate issue, BEFORE we post anything other than sympathy for Ross.
If Quattronics were to blame and do not fix it, they WILL get flammed and I will join in I'm sure. If they were to blame but resolve it quickly and with minimal pain to Ross, then we should applaud them. If Ross declares Quattronics to be without blame, then a few on here may owe them an apology.....we'll see won't we.
As for the wheelbarrow, if Corey can fix mine then he is a better man than me, the wheel is seized on so the perished and flat tyre cannot be replaced, one of the handles is falling off and it has a good inch of cement welded to the bottom of the bucket....poor thing.

P.S. I can see a whole new thread called Pimp-My-Barrow with brakes by BRY, suspension by Aelred, Mounts by Corey and tuned by MRC painted down the side

Potnoodles post's aren't always of the best quality from I have seen.....
I would echo Simon, Lloyds and David's comments and let's wait and see what Corey can do for Ross before we openly abuse him...

No updates since the 'incident' on this one yet. I've said to Corey that there is no rush, as I've had to make alternate arrangements for transport now and life is a bit busy, so I just accept the S2 has it's place on the backburner for a while. So there's no pressure from me and Corey is not dragging his feet if that's what is in question.
As for this project being in the public domain, it's been that way since the start of Project 400 - to be honest my car is well known so it was always going to be that way; Corey knew this when he took the project on so any comments that this shouldn't be in the public domain are invalid I'm afraid. Whether it's ok to be discussed on the forum is up to the mods.
Cheers
