The amount time and attention to detail that this guy has gone to is quite staggering. You'll need a bit of time for this as there's 42 pages, worth a look though.
yeah not the first time either... hes restored an S13 before, and is possibly the most festidious person ever to own a car..
But respect.... when he's finished with them his cars are in better condition than when then left the factory. And he always find cool products like Deox which removes corrosion amazingly well... i can testify to that
Interesting chemicals aside, the guy obviously wears an anorak, can quote pi to 500 decimal places and writes to the BBC every time there is a continuity error on Dr Who, even the old repeats.
Also he has never had a girlfriend (thank god therefore he will never breed) and only knows what a woman looks like naked as he once saw his sister in the shower. He only has one friend, called Jeremy, who is a train spotter and collects comics.
Conclusion = He needs to get a life!

Sure the boy has done a nice job, but the thread is littered with comments along the lines of putting it on his mantelpiece just to look at. Its a frickin car you freak - its supposed to go places, giving you great fun along the way, and it'll be dirty when you get there. He must cry into his Ovaltine every night with worry about dust or rain settling on his work. DUhhhhh.... Clearly a man with phook all else to do in his life !
Actually, my first car was a Datsun Z....which I rolled it 6 times assisted (It was only 5 & 3/4 times...it ended up on the drivers door and I had to get out and push it back onto the wheels to complete the 6th roll )
I have to say I loved that car. I was the second owner and it had only done 29K miles when dad bought it for me from his secretary (or was it his bosses secretary?), who had never been in 5th gear or driven at over 40 miles per hour. It was black and went like stink. After I crashed that, dad took me to a car park and taught me how to skid and catch a car properly in his Audi 80, which he then gave me It was slower, but I was hooked on Audis.
In fact I was hooked as soon as he bought that 80 as it was just after the UR was introduced and after seeing one in the garage when he bought the 80, I wanted one.
He gave me the Audi as I had bought a Datsun Cherry with the insurance payoff....that was the WORST car I ever owned and far from deserving a rebuild, it should have simply been crushed...when new!
So, it is because I crashed my Datsun that I got my first Audi and I have only driven Audis since (ignoring the growing collection of old Triumphs and motorbikes in the garage )

P.S. Since then I have had proper skin pad training, been to rally school in Scotland and racing school in England and raced everything from single seaters a classic Sunbeam Tiger, so hopefully that was my last intimate session with a hedge....famous last words eh?
P.P.S. Even though I am restoring a 1967 Triumph GT6, I still cannot understand this nerd doing a Nissan.....I repeat, he is an anorak and should be sterilised for our safety.
