I love they way people retire or quit as soon as they get in trouble or do something incorrect.

It happens all the time in government and is pathetic imo...

I hope this device becomes widely available as like the article says it could save people thousands.

Glad to see someone hasn't been convicted wrongly, wonder how much the software/device will cost?

Guess it logs your speed all the time though - great for proving you were doing 30 in a residential but no good if they find out you were doing more than 60 in a national speed limit!

And reveal some areas of government law enforcement the bunch of dim-witted self riteous power abusers they are.

I got pulled over once in birmingham whe i had my 2.8 CQ a few yeasr ago now, copper said the usual - young guy in a nice car etc etc.. gave me a producer and I was off on my way.... when i got my docs out, i hadn't realised my MOT was out by 2 days, so duly took my docs to the cop-shop and admitted my MOT was out.... got a letter through 2 weeks later for a court summons for having no MOT - fine i thought.

Then i read the summons more fully - the copper had put the reason he pulled my over that i was speeding and driving dangerously... so had i been summoned to court for something more serious, it would have looked as if i was driving like a madman, being a danger to other road users.......... and they wonder why noone trusts or has any faith in the police

I had some good news today on a different note. the westminster parking gestapo tried to send me a parking fine which never happened in june. I appealed and they declined so appealed to national parking fines thing and guess what, they have withdrawn a few days before. So why couldnt they just admit they were wrong in the first place instead of trying to extort £150 out of me. RANT OVER

seeing the state of the nation NHS and criminal database government computer systems, the uk needs a hacker-for-hire service to just nip in and erase your "offence" off the records.... seems fair to me if they just levey fines at whoever they want, guilty or not
