I had one for a very short time,not impressed with it at all.Gearbox went wrong so i stripped it.I sold the engine to the bloke who was selling that dark blue coupe q 20v on ebay that ended yesterday.I remember giving him a 3b flywheel with it as the one he had was knackered i think,on looking at the end of the crank he reckoned that the autos had a different bolt pattern and he reckoned he was going to have to pulled the engine apart and put the crank from his knackered engine into the auto one.
I didnt really take much notice at the time but i wouldnt have thought there would have been a difference.

The car is quite tidy etc gonna upload some piccy's in a mo, apparantly from an old audi driver magazine they said the auto's are very slightly quicker than the manuals when in sports mode etc.

I'd be curious as to what its like to drive, it could either work very well, or be a total disaster

Any idea what it does on full throttle? Will it hold around 4-5000rpms on peak torque?

I bought a 2wd manual off ebay last year 'buy it now' 60 quid,no mot or tax.Drove really well,instead of stripping it i thought i would see if anyone wanted to give it a new lease of life.Audibits ended up with it,no prizes for guessing what will have happened to it.

It was on ebay before and sold for £40 ish quid but the guy could not collect it, when it came back on I text the guy asking if he was interested in ending now which we agreed on a price, he did not know how to remove it from auction so told me to put in a high price to secure it, audibits2 ending up bidding against me and loosing to a already lost battle.
