Anyone in the market for

Hi guys,

Never the one to pass up the oportunity for a decent shell. I am going to look at one on sunday morning. It has newly refurbished alloy wheels and was wondering if anyone was in the market for some for a coupe quattro MK1 from 1985.

All I am after is the shell for my project so I can kill two birds with one stonme so to speak and start stripping the thing over chrismas. All this depends ont eh state of the floorpan which I will obviously know on sunday.

Just after some interest right now so I cvan guage money. If someone on here wants them then I will get the car with the wheels. If not I will take a set that I have over and knock the price down.

I will get a alist of bits from it when I see it all I am after is the shell that is all muchachos. It has been stood for 7 years so it will probably be in a state other than the wheels so fingers crossed there are lots of usable parts on it for you guys.

Got to be a quatty for me and no Maca not a shorty, can't be hassled with the shortening.... Look at Zlobo's shorty project thread and there is a big clue in there....

@ Error the wheels are the multispoke (16 methinks) thatare off the original car. Will post a piccie on sunday if I like to look of the car. I will be stripping the whole thing inc the drivetrain as I want to use an S2 drivetrain for upgradeability in the future with regards to brakes suspension etc.
I am going to try to do it right in the first place though and look at coilovers etc hence this is going to be a long project

That just needs a map and the wizard to work his magic to sort the idle, bit of paint on the door. Nowt major really so onto the next

Right wheels are in pristine condition, The car needs a new door and is in general good nck as he has deal with al the rust patches on th ebody. No rust on the a pillars but the sunroof leaks alot (aftermarket one fitted() So told him I will get back to him tonight..

Anyonw want the wheels?
