S2 vs. Lancia delta integrale

there will be drag in my city next weekend.
It will be audi coupe s2 (3b 1991, about 280km) vs. lancia delta integrale (274km).
Whad do you think who will win?

Probably the lighter (weight) of the two.

Only reason the lancia is lighter is cos rust and holes weigh less than solid audi metal

if both are standard then i would have to say the 'grale
but at higher speeds id say the s2 would catch it up

I'd say the cars are close enough in performance for it top be down to the drivers.

On standard spec then the 'grale should have the edge given good driver technique in both cars.

If its an EVO 1 or 2 then no real question.

How long is the drag? If you get into the top end the S2 will catch up quickly and overhaul the 'grale.

But thats not the point.

The 'grale was a way of getting Lancia into the top flight of Group A and N rallying.

The S2 was a high spec, high speed road car. It was rallied but never to the extent or to level of international success as either the ur-quattro or the 'grale. It was after all Audi's choice not to do it.
