Bought a 1997 a4 Tdi b5 Quattro as a daily driver but the seats are rough. Converted some leather front seats from an s6 c4 but there is a couple of plugs in the a4 that are not in the replacement seats. I've attached a picture to see if anyone knows what they are for.
If they are for a seat airbag can they be coded out so the abs light will function properly or can I just short the wires. I can't find a wiring diagram to show what the colours are.
    Any help welcome. Brian

They're for seat airbags. Connect 2 to 5 ohm resistor between both wires in yellow connector and clear fault codes.

      Wires

Thanks for the reply. What is the brown wire in the red connector block and can I leave it disconnected. Brian

Leave it disconnected, it's ground for airbag igniter.
