URS6 - Whats it worth?

Hi guys,

Just wanted to know what the general consensus is on what this is worth....?

URS6
1996 / N reg
150k miles
MOT'd until end of Feb 2015
Tax'd until the end of August
New "old stock" standard exhaust in February
New bottom arms in February
New handbrake cables in February
New front pads in February
New back discs and pads in February
Koni yellow shocks
Cobra 30mm Lowering springs
Chipped to 280bhp
Set of 18x8 RS4 wheels (genuine) one slightly buckled with good tyres
Set of standard S6 wheels (winter wheels) no tyres
Cream leather

Bad points;
bodywork scratched here and there as you'd expect,
front wings need replaced but it comes with 2 good wings which will need fitting and painting,
rusty spots on the doors, but it's surface rust,
Front shock could do with being replaced
heater controls is temperamental but it comes with a new heater control unit.
Front discs could do with being replaced

It's no show car but mechanically it's pretty sound, it'll go for a while, with some TLC it could be a great car! I was going to keep it but a local boy has approached me wanting to buy it and has asked what I want for it........I would like £1500, but maybe that's pushing it, is £1000 too cheap?

True, but at the same time I've done all the hard work finding the exhaust and front wings both very hard to find, and I would rather keep it and run it into the ground than lose out on it....

I suppose £1000-1500 is the bracket, if he pays somewhere in that bracket and he runs the MOT out then breaks it I don't think he would lose anything......

I agree with you. I think it is worth every penny of £1500 and if you have the parts and have done all the work to have it mechanically sound, seems a shame to sell. Good luck with whatever you decide to do.

yup, even with the body issues it's worth at least £1500 all day long. there was an mot failure on ebay recently that went for a shade under that and in pretty shabby condition.

However your S6 could be a peach again with some TLC by the looks of it, nice colour.

aye, it's completely heinous! it looks like one wagon has rammed into the **** of another - oh and the cavernous gap in the wheel arches is positively ridiculous!!

I have an S6 also that's currently on Ebay, and getting the usual 'how much do you want for it?'.

Audi S6 2.2 Turbo Quattro Automatic. 230BHP 134000 miles 1996 model

Tax and MOT has expired. Car was in use until recently. MOT was due in June, no advisories on previous MOT.

Good Points:
Engine, Gearbox, Brakes are spot on
Alloys in good condition, All tyres have good tread left
Electric Windows, AC works
Clean Interior, no tears in leather seats
Full Service History
2 Keys

Bad Points:
Body work needs TLC (see photos); scrape on one side, dent in rear bumper & front driver wing, rust emerging on left front wheel arch, bonnet stone chips.
Intermittent knocking from the front suspension
Remote central locking doesn’t work (works manually with key fine)
Sunroof needs electric motor
Boot doesn’t lock
Driver door sometimes doesn’t shut properly

Can anybody help me out on an valuation?

It's a shame I don't have time for it anymore

Yeh. I'll give you £600 for it.
They aren't such good breakers as s2 as can't use so many parts for 80 conversions
