S6 coolant capacity

does anyone know what the coolant capacity of the aan engine is and how much antifreeze to put in for the winter?

I think its 9 litres,i used 4l of anti freeze

Seeing that I am such a bad teacher and all , I really hate to spoonfeed you but...

Capacity = 9 L (see attached AAN specifications PDF)

Regarding the mixture of coolant and water, the factory UrS6 manual says :

"The coolant consists of a mixture of 60% water and 40% of our coolant additive G 11 VBB. ...This mixture gives the necessary frost protection down to -25 C (50/50 = -35C) and protects the alloy parts of the cooling system against corrosion....For these reasons the coolant concentration must not be reduced by adding plain water, even in the summer or in warm climates. The concentration of coolant additive must always be at least 40% (V8 engine (ABH) 50%)"

Correct and 4 L with 5 L low ion content water = 44.4% coolant mixture, i.e. above the minimum factory requirement of 40% = good.
