  • 356mm disc on 17 inch rim?

I am thinking of replacing my HP2 brakes on my URS4 against D2 Racingsports 6-piston caliper brakes. Do u think that I should go with 356mm discs or 330mm? I think that the 356mm disc should fit my 17 inch rim, the rim is 8.5 wide and ET35.I would appricieate If anyone had any info on fitting these brakes on a urs4 or urs6.

Thats a big old disc! Will give you a ton of unsprung weight, that would be my only concern.

This will depend on the wheels being used to a degree. 17" Team Dynamics clear my 345mm brakes without issue. Whereas the 17" B5 Avus I have with 12mm spacers rub very slightly.

what colesy said above the barrel will be either be too tight or be ok not just the et if you have 17zr/zl why not use merc 330mm discs this is what I used with Porsche Boxster s rear 4 pots and 300mm discs it stopped great and could fit under 17” wheels but I used 18” bbs lm instead.
